Our air traffic control (ATC) operations are responsible for all aircraft arriving and departing from Dubai and the northern emirates – usually around 1,300 movements daily – and ensuring that delays and disruptions are kept to a minimum.

We currently deliver approach services for all four airports (DXB, DWC, Sharjah International and Al Minhad Air Base) from a combined facility at DWC and provide tower services at both Dubai International (DXB) and Al Maktoum (DWC). Total traffic is expected to grow by six to eight percent annually, from approximately 460,000 movements in 2013 to 648,000 movements in 2018.
